*** ⚠️Anticipated Flooding- Park Hill Access⚠️***

The incoming weather event has placed Cambria under a Flood Advisory from Thursday afternoon to Saturday morning. Based upon the current Santa Rosa Creek levels and anticipated precipitation amounts, there is a very high probability that the Windsor Blvd Bridge area will flood again and cut off access to and from the Park Hill Neighborhood during this incoming storm event.

The Cambria Fire Department will be opening the “Emergency Fire Access Road” as long as the road remains passable. The last storm did significant damage to the emergency road and if the storm does more damage to the road, we may have to restrict use and access to the road for emergency vehicles only.

If you live in the Park Hill Neighborhood, NOW is the time to prepare. Ensure that you have adequate medication, food, and water for yourself, your family, and your pets! The emergency road is not built for vehicle traffic and is only for emergency vehicle access and evacuations. Please do not try to treat this emergency access road as a viable roadway to travel to and from Park Hill. If the conditions worsen on this emergency road, this too will be closed down.
