The Cambria CSD Fire Department is extremely pleased to announce that we have been awarded the SAFER (Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response) grant from FEMA, which will fund hiring three full-time Firefighter Paramedics for a period of three years and will add a fourth person on the engine to increase staffing. The hiring of three full-time Firefighter Paramedics is FULLY FUNDED, with no match required from the receiving agency.

On September 16, 2021 the Cambria Community Services District Board of Directors unanimously approved accepting the grant at their regular board meeting. The Cambria Fire Department will post the hiring announcement soon!
