We would like to share that the Cambria Fire Department has deployed a water tender, along with CCSD Fire Staff, to assist in the ongoing efforts to combat the Palisades Fire. This equipment and the dedicated team operating it are playing a critical role in ensuring a steady water supply for firefighting efforts in areas where resources are scarce. Our participation in mutual aid efforts demonstrates our commitment to supporting California communities in their time of need. The Palisades Fire is currently presenting significant challenges to our state’s resources, and by assisting, we are helping protect lives, property, and the environment.

While our team is assisting with this important mission, rest assured that the safety and protection of Cambria remain our top priority. We continue to have full coverage here at home, ready to respond to any local emergencies. We extend our gratitude to our firefighters for their bravery and selflessness and thank you, the community, for your ongoing support.
